Course map
Twelve modules, from the introduction to a final project.
| No. | Module | Topics |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Introduction | Safety, course format and equipment. |
| 1 | Assembly | Assembly route, parts, servos, board and IDs. |
| 2 | Connection and anatomy | Connection, arm structure, degrees of freedom and coordinates. |
| 3 | Calibration | Neutral pose, feedback, resolution and checking results. |
| 4 | Teleoperation | Control method, interface, limits and movement. |
| 5 | Pick and place | Preparation, command recording and playback. |
| 6 | Tool use | TCP, base, points, virtual checks and writing a signature. |
| 7 | Object recognition | Camera, color, masks, object centers and morphology. |
| 8 | Tracking and PID | From pixels to coordinates and tracking-controller tuning. |
| 9 | Neural-network recognition | Data, labeling, training/validation and sorting. |
| 10 | ArUco markers | Markers, orientation, inverse kinematics and grasping. |
| 11 | Final project | Questions, a tower, drawing, masks, PID, datasets and sorting. |
Choose the next module
Numbers give the recommended order. Understand safety, connection and calibration before movement and vision. For class work, also check the teacher’s assignment in Homework.
The final project is implemented
Module 11 combines course knowledge with setup, motion and vision checks and practical stages. If its card is unavailable, check access and the application message; that does not mean the module has not been written.
Teaching simulations
Module 9 generates training curves with a teaching model to explain validation and overfitting. They are not a report of training your network on a GPU. Module 10 includes marker exercises; the separate ArUco plugin supplies detection to other tools.
Without a physical arm
Theory, virtual scenes and simulator-supported exercises can be completed without hardware. Assembly, wiring checks, real calibration and writing quality require a physical machine. Opening the material does not complete physical practice.
Controls
| Button or field | Action and result |
|---|---|
| Dashboard → module-group tab | Select a course section, then the desired card. Module numbers match the map above. |
| Start / Continue on a card | Opens an available module. Read its introduction and hardware requirements first. |
| Lesson step list | Opens completed and current steps. Complete the current stage’s check to move forwards. |
| Exercise buttons | Operate within the current task: for example, recording a lesson demonstration does not export a Policies episode. Follow the exercise’s own condition and result. |
Where to find control instructions
- Modules 0–3: connection and calibration.
- Modules 4–6: first movements, joints and coordinates, points and playback.
- Modules 7–10: camera, demonstrations and policies, ArUco.
- Module 11: revisit the relevant instructions before combining actions in a project.
