Files and saved data

Save projects and distinguish server data from local files.

Checked 2026-10-16
Data Where Remember
Robot profile Profile → My robots; import/export. Check model and calibration after transfer.
Paths Record paths; import, export and Share. Public status determines link access.
Block program Block code → Save… / Load…. Keep the saved project file.
Python/C++ ROS2 lab → Download all files (ZIP). Runtime/package downloads do not save your code.
URDF Presentation editor → Download / Open. Linked geometry assets must remain accessible.
Policy episodes Policies episode export. Choose the format expected by the training workflow.
Local plugin Tools → Load locally…. Separate from account progress on the server.

Changing computers

Sign in with the same account and check server progress and profiles. Transfer required local files and grant device permissions again. Do not clear browser data before exporting projects stored locally.

After import

Check the content and model first. Importing a trajectory or configuration does not establish safety on another assembly. Inspect movement and verify calibration before physical execution.

Controls

Button or field Action and result
Profile → import / export Use for robot-configuration JSON. Open the profile and check its model after importing.
Record paths → Import / Export Works with trajectory JSON. After importing, check the point count, Public and model, then play in simulation.
Block code → Save… / Load… Saves and opens program-block JSON. Save the current workspace before Load.
ROS2 lab → Download all files (ZIP) Downloads code files. Loading the Python runtime during Run is not a project backup.
Presentation → Download / Open Works with the URDF description. Add geometry resources separately using Upload model.
Policies → Download Opens episode format selection. Download all episodes is available for multiple episodes.
Record paths → Create movie Downloads virtual playback as WebM. Video does not replace JSON containing path points.

After downloading, check the filename, extension and that the matching tool can open it. A shared .json extension does not make robot profiles, trajectories and block programs interchangeable.
