Lectures

Find published class lectures, joining links and recordings.

Checked 2026-10-16

Open a lecture

  1. Open Homework and find the class lecture list.
  2. Read the title, description and scheduled time.
  3. For a live session, follow the published joining link. For a recording, open the embedded material if the teacher supplied it.

What Lab stores

A lecture can contain a title, description, time, an external joining link and a YouTube recording link. A lecture card does not mean the video meeting runs inside Lab.

Missing lecture or broken link

Check the account and class. Teacher drafts are hidden from students. If a link fails, tell the teacher the lecture title and the exact error from the external service.

Controls

Button or field Action and result
Lectures Open this tab in Homework. It lists published materials for your groups.
Title, description and time Check the meeting topic and time. An empty list may mean that the teacher has not published the material yet.
Join Opens the meeting link supplied by the teacher. The button appears when a link is present; any further sign-in occurs on the meeting service.
Recording player Plays the attached YouTube video. A recording appears only after the teacher adds it and saves the published material.

The lecture Join button and a Presentation code serve different purposes. For a shared model demonstration, follow Presentation.
