Plan a lesson

Prepare access, equipment and an observable learning result.

Checked 2026-10-16

Before students arrive

  • Check roles, the class and available seats; prepare accurate student emails.
  • Try the exercise on the same type of computer and connection.
  • Open the required tool and load its dependencies in advance.
  • For hardware, check assembly, mounting, clear working space and the correct power supply.
  • Publish the assignment and check that students can access any prerequisite module.

Example 45-minute lesson

Time Activity
5 minutes Goal, safety and sign-in checks.
10 minutes Demonstrate one technique virtually.
20 minutes Independent work and progress observation.
10 minutes Submit results, discuss errors and finish safely.

This is an example schedule, not the duration of Lab modules. Adapt it to age, preparation and equipment.

Success criterion

Describe an observable action: for example, the student selects a virtual connection, changes a pose and explains how it differs from a physical arm. Opening a lesson does not demonstrate understanding. Use a homework answer and teacher feedback for written evidence.

Controls

Button or field Action and result
Before class: open the tool Load dependencies, connect using Virtual and perform the chosen action. Check that the expected result is visible.
Demonstration: Presentation → link Invite students, demonstrate one technique and explain the start button, parameters and how to finish.
Practice: Pen Give control to one student and ask them to explain the action and result. Then take control back.
Check: Teaching → Students Compare step and module progress without treating it as an assessment of the practical result.
Submission: Homework → New assignment Describe the result to be assessed and submission method, then select recipients and publication.
Feedback: Review Accept the answer or return it with a specific correction. Finish by ending the presentation and current tool operations.

Example practice: a student creates two different points, starts Play in simulation, stops Loop with Stop and exports JSON. This checks completion of a sequence rather than merely opening the catalog.
