Teacher questions

Answers about class access, shared teaching and assessment.

Checked 2026-10-16

Does each student need a personal subscription?

Active class membership is considered when granting course access, separately from personal subscriptions. Check the email, membership and access rules of the current deployment.

Why is Teaching missing?

Check that you signed in to the intended account and it has the teacher role. Registering an account does not guarantee that role.

Can two teachers run a class?

The class has a teacher list and an option to add a colleague by email. The owner is marked separately. Check your colleague’s access before the lesson.

Is the course percentage a grade?

It measures completion, not solution quality or acceptance of a written answer. Use observed actions, student explanations and reviewed work.

How do I assign the same work to several classes?

If another active class exists, copy the assignment, then check recipients and publication in the destination.

Can I teach without hardware?

Yes. Start with virtual exercises, visual programming and presentations. That lesson does not verify physical assembly, power, real measurements or hardware calibration.

A student cannot see an assignment Open its Edit form and check Visible to students, Who gets it and Unlocks after. Also check membership in an active class.
The Review queue is empty Check the assignment table: answers may not have arrived, and a Complete a module assignment is not a text submission.
You need the assignment in another class Use copying, then check settings in the destination class. Student answers are not transferred.
A student cannot edit URDF In Presentation, open Edit for the model and give File control to the intended viewer. Pen controls the scene but does not permit description editing.

Check assignment availability using a student account in the corresponding class. A card visible to a teacher does not prove it is published to students.
